Mayor Walsh and 4 Park Commissioners ask for feasibility study to install 6-8 Pickleball Courts in Bederwood Park
Mayor Walsh was sitting in the back row against the wall right from the beginning of the meeting. He and four Park Commissioners are calling for a feasibility study to install 6-8 Pickleball Courts at Bederwood in the existing playground area thereby increasing hardscape. The playground is proposed to be upgraded and moved to a shadier spot.
Why Bederwood? It sounds like Mayor Walsh and the Orono Park Commission want to create Bederwood Amusement Park. And they want room for expansion.
