Who will parachute in to become the next Orono City Council member?

June 12th, 2023 there will be candidate interviews and an approval all in one meeting.

Is this the proper process? Why does Mayor Walsh get to choose another “yes” person for our City Council?

Shouldn’t Citizens have a say? How can any responsible City Council make such a quick turnaround without front loading the decision?
