NWHLM Letter Negates Mayor Comments

During the February 13 City of Orono Work Session, Mayor #denniswalsh spoke unkindly and apparently with some miscommunication regarding the Northwest Hennepin League of Municipalities (NWHLM). The NWHLM felt the need not only to support Council member Alisa Benson, but to also submit a public letter clarifying several of the points #MayorWalsh made.

The NWHLM meeting is open to elected council members and as such will remain open with invitation to Council member Benson as long as she wishes to attend. Building collaboration with our sister cities and elected officials can only help Orono now and into the future.
