Orono Taxes are Going Up AGAIN!

Orono Residents! Your #Taxes are about to go up AGAIN!

Mayor Walsh likes to spin the tax story to the fact that he hasn’t raised the tax rate, but your home values are going up every single year so your taxes are going up along with that trend.

#spendydenny could lower your tax rate like sister cities Deephaven, Shorewood and Minnetrista but no, he needs more funding for his multi million dollar boondoggles.

Ask #MayorWalsh when he is going to stop digging into taxpayer pockets for projects we don’t want or need like a duplicate fire station less than a mile from the current one, and like the Taj Mahal Public Works Building that is many times the size of some other cities with similar population.

There is nothing wrong with the current Public Works Building or the Long Lake Fire Department Mayor Walsh so stop increasing our taxes to build something we don’t need!
